    As is illustrated in the picture, two crippled men bind themselves together, each of who has only one leg left, leaving the crutches behind and supporting each other on a journey. Apparently, this thought-provoking picture aims at communicating this message: facing adversity, people need to be cooperative and act as a team.
    
    There are several reasons accounting for this. To begin with, everyone may meet with ups and downs in his/her life, and may be confused about what to do. As an individual is always limited in his/her capacity, others’ assistance or cooperation will help him/her out. Most importantly, a team will perform well only if all the members do their utmost and cooperate well. A game is often a game for all but not a game for one. Even the most brilliant football or basketball stars, like Yao Ming and Renaldo , would have to rely on the team, let alone people with difficulties or in hardships.
    
    From the discussion above, we can identify the value of teamwork and collective spirits. It is, therefore, sensible that every responsible citizen advocate it and apply it. People are supposed to enhance the awareness of caring for each other especially when they are in trouble. We should remember, “united, we will win; separated, we will fail.” A harmonious relationship between people and a harmonious society of people demand cooperation and teamwork.
